Weird Science is back at the Columbus Science Pub! Join Dr. Rob Pyatt as he leads the pub through some of the strangest science studies ever conducted like “Estimation of the Total Saliva Volume Produced Per Day by Five-Year-Old Children”.

You can also participate in the current Weird Science study “Identification of Icons on Bathroom Fixtures “and we’ll be reviewing the results at the Pub to see if our results replicate the original study.

Over the 20+ years of Weird Science, some of the favorite studies we have conducted have involved the bathroom. So for 2025, we’re heading back there!

Below is a link to a survey called “Identification of Icons on Bathroom Fixtures”. It’s open to anyone 18 years of age or older as the survey is about things that go on in the bathroom.

As part of the survey, you will be shown some icons or images that are meant to represent things associated with bathroom fixtures and their functions. If viewing such images isn’t something that sounds interesting to you, please skip this survey. This is strictly fun science and there will always be another Weird Science study that you can contribute to later.
